My Story

Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, I grew up idolizing teams and athletes located in the Pacific Northwest. For as long as I can remember, I have had a strong passion for all the major sports, and spent my childhood attending games or watching on tv. By the time I reached my teenage years, I was certain that I would follow my passion into the sports media industry.

I graduated from Liberty High School in June 2019, and in the same week received an Associate in Arts and Sciences, AAS-DTA, from Bellevue College. I then chose to move halfway across the country to continue my education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I chose Nebraska after seeing the unique opportunities inside the growing Sports Media program within the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.

I graduated from Nebraska in December 2022 as a triple major in Sports Media, Broadcasting, and Journalism. During my time in Lincoln, I was able to dive headfirst into hands-on work with several sports. In broadcasting, I have been able to work with 90.3 KRNU and the Big Ten Network as a part of their Student U program. I have also gained experience in Reporting and Journalism by creating dynamic multimedia content for the Nebraska News Service and UNLimited Sports.

During my time in the Phoenix metro area, I worked over a year at Podpopuli in Scottsdale, a public podcast recording studio. I was able to learn the ins and outs of the podcast medium which helped spark the interest for three podcasts I've been proud to launch, and several others I've helped contribute toward.

I've also had the opportunity to cover Phoenix area sports during my 2022 summer internship with Spanish language media outlet Arizona Deportiva. I helped create dynamic content covering the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, USL's Phoenix Rising FC, and NISA's Valley United FC.

Following graduation, I accepted a News/Sports reporter job with News Channel Nebraska. I was in the position until May 2023.

I currently reside in Bend, Oregon, working as a reporter for Central Oregon Daily News. I have been in the position since June 2023.

When I'm not working, I am likely following one of my other passions, which include skiing, traveling, working out, or attending concerts.
